Nod wearable device

There are lots of smart gadgets on the market. And now we have one more new gadget – wearable device called Nod. What is it and how it works?

Nod is the most advanced gesture control ring. It allows you to engage objects with your movements as if by magic. Nod is allowing effortless communication with other smart devices such as phones, tablets, Google Glass, watches and more.

Nod responds to the simple movements you make – rotate your hand to adjust the temperature on a smart thermostat, turn on the TV pointing in the direction of it.

The most interesting part for us is the ability to use Nod as a game controller. Just imagine how cool is slicing fruit using Nod 馃檪

Ola and Justyna got to know the secrets of how games are created from
the initial idea, through development of the concept to the final
graphic. After intensive study, the time has came for the game… 馃檪
Girls tested the game from the exhibition聽 Spiel Trieb. They played mainly on the “Suck the balls” (that’s the official name) – so it is a big “shower balls”. It was necessary to first use vacuum cleaner to suck enough balls to fill the tank and then drain them on own head 馃檪

Another game was “Superplexus Interlace” – maze in a ball. You have to carry out a bullet in one of the six corridors

The first level was easy and six was for experts.

The girls played聽 in the maze, where with the help of eye movement player moved the labyrinth聽so that the ball did not fall into any hole. The game had two levels of difficulty,
what you see on photos.

14.03.21-Inide_Games

Few days ago Apple has announced the new “Indie Game Showcase” section in the AppStore . It’s the special section where we can find the best and most popular indie games on the platform.

A few words from Apple:

Often made up of just a few dedicated members, independent studios prove that what really matters is the size of your dream. In each Indie Game Showcase, we celebrate a popular game and its creative team, highlighting the developer’s titles along with their favorite games from other studios.

Facebook is going to offer free internet

Facebook is going to buy company who produces drones. Drones can fly at altitude of 20 km. During 5 years drones will be powered by solar energy.

This solution is cheaper than space satellites. Titan Aerospace drones would be used by Facebook to deliver internet to farthest corners of the world. The first drones will fly over Africa and other places where there is no internet.
