Apple invites to event

Apple: “Wish we could say more”
These are the words that Apple uses to invite us to the keynote that is held on the 9 of September in Flint Center for the Performing Arts in Cupertino. We can olny try to guess what that means of course. As we know Apple never gives away any details of their devices. It may be assumed that the word ‘more’ means more devices that is iPhone and wearable. That is still a mystery.

According to news report Apple will present it’s new iPhone 6 with the 4,7 inch and 5,5 inch screens. Wait and see 🙂

Off Festival 2014 review

On the first days of August we were on the OFF Festival 2014 situated in Katowice. It’s one of the biggest festival in our country which concentrate the alternative music fans. The idea of the OFF festival is to open to everything what is unconventional. It is the best place for artists who are just waiting for their five minutes of Fame.

OFF Festival was a very well organized. While leasning to the music we could also spend time at the different way. You can go watch TV, go to hairdresser, play games and eat a delicious meat. For everybody who was big hungry there were tasty burgers, big dumplings or Thai bucket with rice and meat in a special sauces – for typical Thai cusine.

Between concerts fans could walk around through the Gastro and the OFF market. Side by side we and “Tomasz Szabelka and Team” have a nice place to relax and play games on old consoles. Retro Gaming Corner gives a lot of fun (you can see on the photos) thanks to the SNES, PS One and XBox.

SNES was for players who remember a game called “Street Fighter”. Two boys come to us and play a lot of time during those 3 days. On the PS One players were able to play Atari Arcade, Gran Turismo 2, FIFA 1998 and Street Racer. On the XBox we could play Golden Axe 1,2,3 and Mortal Kombat 1,2 and 3.

For us Off Festival was the best place to show you our game. BoardCraft is no ordinary board game – it is a game of a thousand ideas. BoardCraft is a door open to everybody creativity and a tool to fulfill ideas for their own games – one they will imagine and would like to play themselves.

Facebook gives a new feature – “Save”

A few days ago Facebook announces a new feature called “Save”. It’s something like a Pocket or Read It Later but this time we can save an information using Facebook.

It’s a good idea – maybe it could be more visible – but we like it!

iTunes Extras for the Apple TV

Apple released a new version of iTunes Extras for the Apple TV.

iTunes Extras offers an extra features for movies you get on a DVD or Blu-ray. iTunes Extras offers featurettes, behind-the-scenes commentary and deleted scenes. All of the these we can watch on HD quallity.

New release has also a new Scenes feature that lets us access favourite scenes without scrolling. Photo gallery Extras has up to 4K resolution now.

iPhone 6 – Mockups

New mockups of iPhone 6 published by Nikkei offers probably the closest look of the final product.

This time we have new raport from Japanese newspaper Nikkei (link for everyone who knosw Japanese language http://www.nikkei.com/article/DGXNASFK2301E_T20C14A6000000/ :). It says that the final iPhone will have the screen thinner and rounder. The display which may actually be curved so it will probably fit into the aluminium shell. The white stripes on the back of the device aren’t supposed to be antenna markers – they’re supposed to be for glass on the back panel.

In addition 128GB version of iPhone will be released too.

We will verify this information this fall.

Apple buys Beats for $ 3 billion

Producer of headphones, speakers and streaming music service – Beats – is sold for $3 billion.

Apple expands its own music business. For Apple this operation is the biggest takeover ever.

In addition Apple does not only buy Beats but also widely contact network of Dr. Dre and his fresh ideas.

Our report from the Digital Dragons 2014

Last thursday and friday we were on a great event in Cracow – the Digital Dragons 2014. This is nothing new, because I’ve previously posted on the blog that we’ve made the application for this event. So we couldn’t miss it :)

The event was super organized because there was a lot of cool speakers. But we’ve been so busy showing functionality of BoardCraft, which opens the mind of every child and give possibility to create own board game.

We present our report from the Digital Dragons to you. I’ll just say in short, it was really a mass of cool people – not only players but developers, bloggers and investors.
